The turtles pulling off an awesome combination attack to get their first advantage in the fight.Then when Mikey attacks him he snatches one of his nunchucks and uses it to beat down Ralph. Shredder combines two of his largest blades onto a double-edged sword ala Darth Maul and uses it as a bo staff to beat Donnie. Shredder shows how good he at Beat Them at Their Own Game.After he kicks Leo off the ledge, Donnie goes for him.Shredder takes on all four of the turtles together, and completely and utterly kicks their ass with contemptuous ease, with all of them barely staying alive. Donnie deflecting point-blank machine gunfire from a pair of Foot ninja by spinning his staff.Not only was it a great rescue, but he did it after repeatedly getting tased by the Foot. Leo deserves special mention for his rescue of April and Vernon.Shredder's introduction is him beating up a Foot mook with both hands literally tied behind his back.Vern also gets one when he clocks Sacks over the head with a microscope.That's right, April O'Neil took down Shredder. April tells the turtles to swing her towards him and kicks Shredder right in the face, causing him to both stab himself with his own wrist blades and fall off the tower. April's biggest CMOA comes later, when both she and the turtles are hanging onto the tower for dear life and Shredder is trying to take them down with him.They're saved when April distracts Shredder by threatening to drop the mutagen. Also, the turtles holding on to the tower to prevent it from falling (and releasing toxic chemicals) and refusing to be moved even when Shredder starts beating on Leonardo.The final fight between the Turtles and Shredder.April actually manages to slightly move a large chunk of rubble which had collapsed on Splinter showing that she is pretty strong for a human, before Ralph comes in and tosses it away.All in all Splinter does much better against Shredder than all the turtles combined.He uses it to smack Shredder across the room, trip him up, choke him, and when April helps as mentioned above, he uses it to toss her to safety. Splinter's tail is not for show either.It's the first time Splinter gets any actual action in any of the live action films, and he does not disappoint.
